Onboarding
Import clients and properties from a spreadsheet, start from a company type template
Direct answer
A new company starts from a company type template: the services, checklists and fields the business needs are pre-configured on signup and editable afterwards. Clients and properties come in from a CSV or Excel file; Via reads the columns and maps them, urbanización and coordinates included, so an export from the last tool or a plain spreadsheet lands as a working roster. Owners are then invited by email with a link that opens their portal, and the first visit can be recorded the same day.
The roster after the import
The first week is the whole decision
A service company decides whether a tool is real in the first week. If the clients are not in it by Wednesday, it is a demo. So the onboarding is built around one file: the spreadsheet every company already has, or the export from the tool they are leaving.
Via reads that file and proposes how each column maps to a client or a property field. The mapping is shown before anything is created, urbanización and coordinates included, because an address on the coast is identified by the development rather than the street number and a pin at the complex entrance is not the villa.
What onboarding includes
A company type template
Services, checklists and custom fields pre-configured for the kind of business on signup, and editable from the first day.
Import from CSV or Excel
Clients and properties from one file. Via maps the columns; the company reviews and confirms.
Urbanización and coordinates
The importer recognises the development column, and a coordinates column when the old tool exported one, so pins land where the villa is.
Several emails per client
A client with more than one email address keeps them all, so the report reaches the owner and the agent.
Owner invites
Once the roster is in, owners are invited by email with a link that opens their portal. Invites can be held back until the company is ready.
Pin corrections
A pin that geocoded to the wrong place is moved on the map, and the correction stays.
What it does not do
What it does not do
What stays in the old tool.
- The import creates clients and properties. It does not bring over visit history, invoices or documents from the previous tool.
- The template is a starting point, not a lock: everything it pre-configures is edited like anything else.
Frequently asked questions
Which file formats can I import?
CSV and Excel. Via reads the file and proposes the column mapping; you confirm it before any client or property is created.
Can a client have more than one email address?
Yes. The import keeps every email on the client, so reports and invoices reach the owner and whoever else they want copied.
Are owners emailed as soon as I import?
Only when you choose to. The roster can be imported first and the owner invites sent later, once the company is ready for owners to open their portal.
Why it is built for Spain
VisitPro is built by a founder based in Spain who works this market from both sides: running a pool service company here, and having been the property owner hiring pool companies for their own home. Every decision on this page comes from doing the work and from being the customer, not from market research.
